• Living in a Grid

  

  Wow. This room is amazing. Like living inside a Sol LeWitt sculpture, it’s also reminiscent of Andrea Zittel’s Travel Trailers and Escape Vehicles. The grid seems a little overwhelming though—I wonder if a smoother, organic approach to the ceiling would have made the room a little more balanced and livable.

   The ceiling definately pushed it too far.

   When I first moved to Brooklyn I had a bedroom that I had screwed old wine crates into the walls for bookshelves, storage, keys, etc, all ergonomically placed for best conveniance to my body, as my bdm was 5 x 11 feet.
